liverpool go into tonight's game knowing that they have to wipe out a one-goal deficit, and score sufficent goals themselves to progress though to the last eight of the european cup. it is demanding task-but one which. i know, the players will not shirk; and i am confident that our supporters will give them every encouragement.
on behalf of the club, i welcome the players and officals of trabzonspor on their first visit to anfield, and i would also like to extend a warm welcome to the u.e.f.a delggate, and to the match officials.
