last-gasp ogunjimi turns tide genk's way published: tuesday 26 july 2011, 23.30cet krc genk 2-1 fk partizan marvin ogunjimi scored the winner in added time, seven minutes after coming off the bench, as genk recovered from a goal down.

marvin ogunjimi struck two minutes into second-half added time to give krc genk the edge after the opening instalment of their uefa champions league third qualifying round tie against fk partizan.
ogunjimi's winner only told half the story, though, after a game in which both teams were reduced to ten men inside 48 minutes. nemanja tomić gave partizan the lead after that, but genk responded through jelle vossen within five minutes before wrapping up victory on the night late on.
though they will head for belgrade on 3 august in high spirits, frank vercauteren's side will do so without calvin anele ngcongca, who was shown a straight red card after 32 minutes. also absent for the return leg will be stefan babović, who was dismissed three minutes after the break to even up the numbers, and genk nearly capitalised, kevin de bruyne's shot striking a post.
the serbian champions hit the woodwork themselves – saša ilić denied by the crossbar – only two minutes later, before tomić did finally break the deadlock 20 minutes into the second half. the same player was adjudged to have fouled daniel pudil inside the penalty area soon after, and vossen did the necessary from the spot.
just as the spoils looked certain to be shared, the hosts struck a potentially decisive blow through ogunjimi, who had only come off the bench seven minutes previously.
