hjk helsinki cruised into the uefa champions league third qualifying round after hitting a club record ten goals in overcoming bangor city fc 13-0 on aggregate.
alexander ring and berat sadik had struck before the interval to leave hjk 2-0 up at half-time and in complete control, but there was little indication of the deluge that was to follow however, after erfan zeneli scored the first of his two goals early in the second half, the floodgates opened.
zeneli's double sandwiched rafinha's 52nd-minute effort, and teemu pukki then scored twice in quick succession. teenage substitute kastriot kastrati, making his debut for the capital club, was the third hjk player to beat lee idzi on two occasions while jarno parikka also got in on the act as the visitors' defence crumbled.
hjk's previous best in uefa competition was a 5-0 uefa cup winners' cup triumph against b71 sandoy on 11 august 1994, but that record was doubled when 18-year-old kastrati grabbed the tenth goal of the evening two minutes from time.
hjk meet nk dinamo zagreb in the next qualifying round, the first leg of which takes place in finland on 26/27 july with the second leg scheduled for 2/3 august.
