psv eindhoven overturned a one-goal first-leg deficit to cruise into the group stage of the uefa champions league with an emphatic 5-0 victory at home against ten-man fk crvena zvezda.
emphatic win trailing 3-2 after their visit to belgrade a fortnight ago, the eredivisie side produced a stylish display in eindhoven with first-half goals from mark van bommel and damarcus beasley turning the tie in psv's favour before van bommel again, john de jong and jan vennegoor of hesselink all found the net after the break.

de jong delight with the home side in complete control, their place in thursday’s draw was all but assured a minute later as beasley flicked on young-pyo lee's centre and de jong scored psv's fourth of the night.
late fifth psv had a number of chances to increase their lead yet further as the match wore on, but had to wait until ten minutes from the end for their final goal. again lee was the source, crossing for vennegoor of hesselink to flick a header beyond disljenkovic and put the seal on a wonderful display by the home side.
